Step 1: Search for Control Panel (CP)

In the corner of your desktop, right next to the Windows icon, you will see a search bar. This is a small area where you can type in what you want to find on your computer. First, click in the search bar to make it active. Once you see the cursor blinking, type in "Control Panel." After you type that in, you should see a list of options appear. Look for the one that says "Control Panel" and click on it. This will open the Control Panel, where you can find various settings and tools to help you manage your computer.

Step 2: Change the icons to large icon

Once the Control Panel is open, you will need to look for an option that says "View by:" at the top right corner of the window. It might currently say "Category." Click on it to see a drop-down menu, and then choose "Large icons" from the list. When you select "Large icons," many different icons will appear on your screen. Take your time to look through these icons until you find one that says, "Network and Sharing Center." Once you see it, click on that icon to open it. This will take you to the section where you can manage your network settings.

Step 3: See the Wi-Fi Password

Once you have successfully opened the "Network and Sharing Center," you will find yourself in a window that displays various network settings and information about your connections. In this section, take a moment to look for the area labeled "Connections." Here, you will see the name of the Wi-Fi network you are currently connected to, which will be displayed as "Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi name)." Click on this name to access more detailed information about your network connection.

After you click on the Wi-Fi name, a new window will appear showing the properties of your network. In this window, you will see several tabs or options. Look for the button that says "Wireless Properties" and click on it. This action will open another window that contains more specific details about your wireless network settings.

Once the "Wireless Properties" window is open, you will notice several tabs at the top. You need to switch to the "Security" tab. This tab is where you can find important information related to the security settings of your Wi-Fi connection. In this section, there will be a checkbox that says "Show characters." By clicking this checkbox, you will be able to reveal the hidden password for your Wi-Fi network. Once you do this, the password will be displayed in plain text, allowing you to see the exact password that you or someone else used to connect to the network.
